Anwar Shah (Ph. D. economics) is a senior fellow (non-resident) Brookings Institution, Washington, DC, USA and an advisor/consultant to the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank and Director of the Centre for Public Economics, Chengdu, China. He directed the World Bank Institute's Governance Program from 2004-2009.
