Anton Kirchweger was the editor or the author of the influential hermetical book Aurea Catena Homeri; Aurea Catena Homeri oder, Eine Beschreibung von dem Ursprung der Natur und natürlichen Dingen. The book was read by Pietists and later influenced the young Goethe.
