Summary. Description. English: Anton Bergmeier was SS-Oberscharführer and co-chief of the camp-prison in the concentration camp of Buchenwald. In the Buchenwald Camp Trial (part of the Dachau Trials) he was sentenced to death by hanging (later modified to lifetime imprisonment).
