About Annecy Venetian Carnival
The Venetian Carnival of Annecy – in the Old Town © French Moments. As its name indicates, the event is reminiscent of the fantastic carnival held in Venice, Italy. The use of Venetian-style masks during the Annecy Carnival was first introduced by ARIA (a local italophile association) on the 16 March 1996.
