Cynthia (Janice Richardson) doesn't have the easiest life. Her father died when she was young, and her brother, Juan (Carlos Leon), is a drug dealer. Despite this, Cynthia takes inspiration from Anne Frank's famous diary and starts writing poems. Juan sells some of them to a rapper named Deuce (Eric Smith), but when Deuce lands a major record deal, Juan is forced to steal more and more.
