Anna Morpurgo Davies Life story
Anna Elbina Morpurgo Davies, DBE, FSA, FBA was an Italian philologist who specialised in comparative Indo-European linguistics. She spent her career at Oxford University, where she was the Professor of Comparative Philology and Fellow of Somerville College.
