the profile has been further strengthened, as the owner of the popular stately home and Safari Park , Longleat House, complete with resident lions.

Alexander George Thynne (later the 'e' from his surname) was born in London on may 6. In may 1932. His father, Viscount Weymouth, The Heir to the Marquessate of bath, while His Mother , the former Daphne Vivian was.

It was a somewhat dysfunctional family. His parents were repeatedly divorced unfaithful to each other, and later, while his relations with his siblings were strained.

He had grown up in A House on The Family estate at Longleat in Wiltshire, where he went to Eton And Then made his civil service in the guard, making a name for himself as a boxer.

While at Eton to the death of his grandfather saw the young Thynne. the 11th Viscount Weymouth, an event which he later described as "a great shame for the students"

After leaving the army, he traveled to Paris, where he studied Art On the Left Bank and acquired a taste for the kind of extravagant outfits that he can wear then more in his life.

after his return to England, he went to Oxford, where he graduated with a degree in politics, philosophy and Economics and was President of the Bullingdon Club , the notorious dining club, who would, years later, admit that The British Prime Minister, David Cameron and Boris Johnson as a member.

During the late 1950s and early ' 60s, he indulged His Love Of Travel , including a trek through South America in The Company of a young Hungarian actress named Anna Gyarmathy, who he married later.

He returned to Longleat, with the intention, as he later described, to a hermit and devotes himself to his painting. Working with a group of young artists, he began, adding wall murals to his apartments in The House , many of them of a distinctly smoky character.

Sold

His father had opened The House to The Public in 1949, set a trend that other large property would later follow, and, in the mid-60s, brings in the famous lions.

Thynne decided that the thousands of people come to Longleat, his paintings pay to see, and he opened his homes to The Public . The salacious nature of his work, an obvious attraction to some, but it also was a serious interest, including a BBC documentary, The Thynne Blue Line .

He then began the interest in the policy for the establishment of a decentralized region of Wessex, and under this banner in the 1974 General elections.

married Anna Gyarmathy 1969

He also changed his last name to Thynn, was the historical spelling of his Family Name . He did this to prevent drift, in his debate, and to ensure people know that rhyming 'pin' instead of 'pine'.

He was 7. Marquess of Bath on the death of his father in 1992. The couple had never reconciled, especially after his father named his Younger Brother , Christopher, run, and Longleat. In the title, the new Lord Bath, his brother had been expelled from The Estate .

His height he saw on his seat in The House of Lords, where he sat as a Liberal Democrat, and his virgin speech on the topic of early childhood education in day-care centres. He later lost his place in The House of lords when most hereditary peers were excluded.

Most of his Time Was now, with Longleat, to be running where he led A Number of new attractions and also appeared from time to Time In The Bbc series "Animal Park ", which documented the day-to-day to the Safari Park .

infidelity

over The Years , he amassed A Collection of More Than 70 friends known as his "wifelets", many of whom end up living in the huts on the Longleat estate, and all of which have been captured in mural form on The Walls of his apartments.

His unusual way of life in many columns for The Press , not least when the police called to Longleat in June 2011, after two women got into a heated argument about who was going to sleep with the Marquess in the night.

He, according to newspaper reports, had gone off to bed and told them to sort it out between Themselves .

He handed over the operation of Longleat to his son, Ceawlin in the year 2010

in Spite of his many infidelities, his wife, Anna, married and stayed with Him - although she spent a considerable amount of their time away from Longleat.

towards The End of the 1980s, he embarked on a great autobiography of a purely Private to The Public exhibition, a remarkably honest portrayal of his life, detailing family feuds, and his numerous sexual encounters.

Writer and broadcaster Gyles Brandreth was described as "elegantly written" and "beautifully observed allusion to the life of the English aristocracy".

He went to the management of The Company to his son, Viscount Weymouth, in 2010.

Alexander Thynn, claimed to loathe The Class system, and broke with the Family Tradition by sending his own children to The Local comprehensive school.

But he was The First to admit that, with his privileged birth and Inherited Wealth that allowed Him to treat you The Way he did.
