Angela Salawa Life story
Angela Salawa was a Polish woman who served in hospitals in World War I. She was the 11th child and lived in a very religious family. She became a member of the Third Order of Saint Francis and worked in hospitals throughout World War I. She later became sick due to working alongside the sick and died in 1922.
