Andriy Valentynov / Andrey Valentinov is the pen name of a Ukrainian Russian-speaking science/fantasy fiction writer Andriy Valentynovych Shmalko. Valentinov is a distinguished Ukrainian historian and archaeologist and works as an associate professor at Ukrainian studies department of Kharkiv National University.
