Amalia Raiffeisen Life story
Amalie Raiffeisen was a German social reformer. By the 1860s her father, Friedrich Wilhelm Raiffeisen, was almost blind. By handling his correspondence with him she was indispensable in his creation of the Cooperative movement in Germany.
