Alvacast is a heavy metal band formed in Uruguay in 1985. They are one of the most influential bands of the heavy metal scene in South America, in the 1980s, alongside bands such as Cross, Acido, Hermética Massacre, and Sepultura. The band also recorded in English and later settled in Canada.
