Alison Thewliss Life story
Alison Emily Thewliss is a Scottish National Party politician. She has been the Member of Parliament for Glasgow Central since the May 2015 general election. Before being elected to Westminster, Thewliss was a Glasgow City Councillor for the Calton ward, first elected in 2007.

Labour calls for emergency budget over cost of living crisis
Labour is calling for an emergency budget to bring forward more measures to tackle the cost of living crisis.
Surges in fuel, energy and Food prices are hitting people's pockets, with inflation running at a 30-year high.
Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer said the government's response had been " woeful" and demanded more measures - Such as a windfall Tax on oil and gas firms.
But a Downing Street source said Boris Johnson was " working Every Day to. . ease The Burden on British families".
