Alice Harrell Strickland Life story
Alice Harrell Strickland was an American politician and activist from Duluth, Georgia. Strickland was the first woman to be elected mayor in the U.S. state of Georgia. She was also known for philanthropic work including establishing the first community forest in Georgia.
