Alfred Lanning Life story
Dr. Alfred Lanning (1960 - 2035 in the film) is the founder and lead robotics designer of USR. He learned that his early creation VIKI was becoming a dangerous and put together a plan to stop her. He created a modified NS-5 robot, Sonny and gave him free will so he could fight VIKI.
