Alexey Akhmanov Life story
Alexey Osipovich Akhmanov was a Soviet Army lieutenant general and a Hero of the Soviet Union. Conscripted into the Imperial Russian Army during World War I, Akhmanov was captured and spent more than two years as a prisoner of war.
