About Aleksey Adashev
Aleksey Fyodorovich Adashev was a Russian statesman, okolnichy, postelnichy, voivode of Livonia. He was a confidant of tsar Ivan the Terrible, but fell out of favor and was imprisoned in Yuryev in 1560, where he died.
