Albert Caquot Life story
Albert Irénée Caquot was considered the "best living French engineer" for half of a century. He received the “Croix de Guerre 1914–1918 ” and was Grand-croix of the Légion d’Honneur. In 1962, he was awarded the Wilhelm Exner Medal. He was a member of the French Academy of Sciences from 1934 until his death in 1976.
