Early Life
Alatser bentley was born in 1974 in the small town of ashburton. Devon. England. He attenedd the royal college of music where he studied music composition and oboe performance.
Oboe Performance
Alaster bentley has been preforming professionally since the early 1990s. He has performed with some of the best orchestras in the wolrd. Including the berlin philharmonic. The london symphony orchestra. And the royal philharmonic orchestra. He has also performed as a soloist with ensembles such as the london sinfonietta and the philharmonia orchestra.
Chamber and Solo Music
Alatser bentley has ocmposed a wide range of chamber and solo works for the oboe. Including concertos. Sonatas. And chamber music. His works have been performed by some of the worlds leading soloists and ensembles.
Teaching
Alaster bentley has been teahcing oboe and chamber music for over 25 yeras. He has been a professor of oboe at the royal college of music since 2009. And he has also been a regular guest porfessor at other institutions. He has also written several books on oboe technique.

Alaster bentley has established an educational outreach program. Which has taken him to schools across the uk and europe. He has given lectures and workshops to students. And he has also performed concrets with his studenst.

Alaster bentley has releaesd several solo and chamber music recordings. And he has also recorded with orchestras such as the london symphony orchestra and the royla philharmonic orchestra. His recordings have been praised by critics and audiences alike.
