About Akshardham Temple Attack
On 24 September 2002, two armed men attacked the Akshardham Temple complex at Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. They killed 30 people and injured more than 80. National Security Guards intervened and ended the siege the next day, killing both attackers. Six accused were later arrested by Gujarat Police.
