Adolph, Prince of Nassau-Schaumburg was the founder of the short-lived Nassau-Schaumburg line. He was the son of Louis Henry, Count of Nassau-Dillenburg, from 1654 Prince of Nassau-Dillenburg, and his first wife Catherine of Sayn-Wittgenstein.
