Abd Shams Life story
ʿAbd Shams ibn ʿAbd Manāf was a prominent member of the Quraysh tribe of Mecca in modern-day Saudi Arabia. The Banu Abd Shams sub-clan of the Quraish tribe and their descendants take its name from him.
