About A Useful Life
The story of a middle-aged projectionist and factotum of an art house cinema in Montevideo. His sort of movie has fallen out of fashion and - through dwindling audiences, mechanical breakdowns, funding withdrawal and other problems - his beloved picture house is suffering death by a thousand cuts. Thrust into the real world, he begins by dating Paola, a young lawyer who attends one of his screenings.
