Gate Mudaliyar Arunachalam Ponnambalam, JP, UM was a Ceylonese colonial-era government functionary, businessmen and philanthropist. He was the cashier at the Colombo Kachcheri and was appointed to the titular rank of Gate Mudaliyar.
