About A Man To Remember
Impoverished physician and widower John "Doc" Abbott (Edward Ellis) arrives in a Midwest town with his young son, Dick. Unable to raise money for a hospital, Doc practices in the poor part of town and adopts a baby born to a patient he can't save. Jean (Anne Shirley) becomes part of the family and is loyal to Doc even when Dick, who has become a doctor himself, defects to the wealthy competition.
