(486958) 2014 MU₆₉, nicknamed Ultima Thule, is a trans-Neptunian object located in the Kuiper belt. It is a contact binary 35 km long, composed of two planetesimals 22 km and 14 km across, nicknamed "Ultima" and "Thule", respectively, that are joined along their major axes.
