We Live Again

We Live Again

Katusha Maslova (Anna Sten) is seduced by her employer's nephew, Prince Dmitri (Fredric March), a former idealist turned frivolous young nobleman. After a night of passion, he leaves for military duty while she stays behind, eventually giving birth to their child. Tossed out for the shame brought to her employer's home, Katusha falls into prostitution and is arrested for murder. Dmitri, now engaged to an aristocrat, discovers her by chance, and comes face-to-face with the life he destroyed.
