Blackrod

Blackrod is a town and civil parish in the Metropolitan Borough of Bolton, Greater Manchester, England. It is 3. 9 miles north-northeast of Wigan and 6. 6 miles west of Bolton. According to the United Kingdom Census 2001, Blackrod had a population of 5,300, but reduced to 5,001 at the United Kingdom Census 2011.
