State of Mato Grosso do Sul

Mato Grosso do Sul is a state in central-west Brazil, bordering Bolivia and Paraguay. In the northwest, Corumbá is a gateway to the vast Pantanal wetlands, with diverse wildlife. Near the southwestern town of Bonito, Gruta do Lago Azul is a large cave with a vivid blue lake. In Campo Grande, the state capital, the Dom Bosco Cultural Museum has a huge collection of indigenous artifacts.
