Kherson

Kherson

Kherson is a city in southern Ukraine. It functions as the administrative center of Kherson Oblast. Designated as a city of oblast significance. Kherson is an important port on the Black Sea and on the Dnieper River, and the home of a major ship-building industry. As of 2015 it had a population of 294,941.
