Juiz de Fora

Juiz de Fora is a city in southeastern Brazil. The Mariano Procópio Museum displays sculpture, paintings and colonial artifacts. Outside, Mariano Procópio Park has fountains, statues and native plants. Southeast, Murilo Mendes Modern Art Museum includes the poet's library and art collection. Nearby, Cine-Theatro Central is a 1920s theater with ornate ceiling frescoes. Morro do Cristo hill offers views of the city.
