Ciudad Rodrigo

Ciudad Rodrigo is a city near Spain's border with Portugal. It's known for its Old Town and 12th-century city walls. Inside the ramparts is the Cathedral de Santa María, with ornate Gothic and Romanesque doorways. The 14th-century Castillo de Enrique II is now a hotel. The Palacio de los Aguila (now home to a heritage center) has a courtyard with arcaded galleries. The Museo del Orinal features antique chamber pots.
