Jutland

Jutland

Jutland is a large peninsula that contains the mainland regions of Denmark. It separates the North and Baltic seas, and borders Germany to the south. Northerly Aalborg, a trade and cultural hub for centuries, has half-timbered merchants' houses and a redeveloped waterfront. Aarhus, originally a Viking settlement, is a major east-coast port with a living museum of historic buildings – Den Gamle By.
