Favoriten, the multicultural 10th District, is one of Vienna's most diverse areas. Kebab joints and halal eateries punctuate the chain stores on pedestrian shopping strip Favoritenstrasse. Ultramodern main station Hauptbahnhof is the nucleus of a huge urban renewal area with businesses, shopping and parks. The sprawling Laaer Berg green space includes Therme Wien spa and the retro Böhmischer Prater amusement park.
