Dieppe

Dieppe

Dieppe is a fishing port on the Normandy coast of northern France. On a clifftop overlooking pebbly Dieppe Beach is the centuries-old Château de Dieppe. The castle's museum includes maritime exhibits, ivory sculptures and impressionist paintings. Nearby, the Memorial of 19 August 1942 is a museum honoring the lives lost in the Dieppe Raid of WWII. The reconstructed medieval Saint-Jacques Church is in Gothic style.
