Catherine Boyes of North Yorkshire , said her son has cystic fibrosis and she was shielding him from home.

In rural England in many house hold face long trips to buy food and that is more difficult to isolate if the Families themselves.

The countryside Alliance said the volunteers were to plug "gaps".
