Mar 8,2022 5:15 pm

The government has announced its plans for the introduction of a "points-based" post-Brexit immigration system.

the Low-skilled workers to obtain visas and the Home Office , said the EU and non-EU citizens would be treated to great Britain, as well as UK-EU-free movement of persons ended, on 31 December.

But as the new laws specific to certain industries?

1. A challenge for companies, small forces of skilled labor.

the width of The Brexit promises to give way to its detailed consequences.

This will work a great change in the nature of The British economy - and a major challenge for businesses dependent on low-skilled European workers.

The government says, ending the free movement of labour from the EU helps the people vote to fulfill pledge to get back the control over the national borders.

It wants to focus on the recruitment of the "brightest and best" from all over The World .

there are many jobs out there, the brightest and best don't want to do But .

Home Secretary Priti Patel says, the company must occupy more training of British workers free to ask.

she says, eight million 16 - to 64-year-olds "economically inactive".

But many of them are students, carers or long-term sick - it is not a guaranteed pool of available workers.

And this is the reason why a lot of companies warn of a shortage of staff, if you are not given more time to.

2. Trouble for The Social care sector

Most of the people employed by the adult social care sector of low-paid workers are homes daily help for older and adult disabled people in care and in the community.

foreigners currently Make Up One -sixth of 840,000 nurses, in England.

But under the new system, foreigners applying to work in the UK care sector seem to be far from the 70 points required.

Care work is not categorised as a shortage occupation, even if it is in 11 post currently vacant.

And even if care work were to be classified as a skilled Job - and even that is not in doubt, how many workers will come across an A-level route - the numbers under 20,000 pounds, on average, is too low to qualify for points.

3. NHS must care for the smooth supply of foreign workers

The concern regarding the points-based system within the NHS is quite as large as in the sector of The Social .

foreigners Make Up 13% of the workforce.

But there are A Number of jobs on the shortage occupation list, including nursing, which will make it easier to reach the 70 points needed to qualify.

The numbers attached to such jobs, means other than The Social care workers',, you can to gain points.

Nearly One in 10 doctors currently comes from the EU - But because of the high pay, high-skilled nature of these roles, The Risk is much less.

the less-well-paid employees, such as healthcare assistants and porters, who could be affected, though.

And all this must in the context of the growing vacancy rates in the NHS - One in 12 jobs unfilled in England.

more and More doctors and nurses are trained, But it will take a few years to qualify to you.

And in the meantime, to ensure a smooth supply of foreign workers will be essential.

4. More temporary farm workers needed

The seasonal workers scheme, which allows Agency workers access to The British , the harvest of fruit, vegetables and flowers, has now been expanded from 2,500 to 10,000 Places - But the farming organisations say that the 70,000 are needed across the UK.

And farms, which is also the implementation of the food processing and packaging say more clarity is required on how these employees could be set.

Since last autumn, veterinarians list were on the shortage occupation.

And every year, half of the new entrants to the vet register are from abroad, most from the EU.

But The British Veterinary Association is warning of yet more will be required to certify exports and imports under the government of the trade, blueprint.

5. Visa can be more difficult for retail workers

people who come to the UK to work in the shops and cafes are likely to find it difficult to get a Visa in The Future .

Who are already working here in retail jobs to be able to stay and apply for permanent status.

But those who come to the UK have to pay after the end of the transition period, the offer of a "skilled" Job , More Than £25.600 adjustable.

Under the current system for people from outside the EU, are considered "qualified" for the purposes of reception of the Visa , you need to do is usually a graduate-level Job .

exceptions to this are for the jobs on the shortage occupation list.

Some of the very experienced and specialized types of the chef coming to the UK on this Visa , But most of the people in hospitality or retail, will not be counted, either as a work to qualify for the forces, or the demand is sufficient.

At the moment, an estimated 228,000 people from the EU working in the "accommodation and catering".
