The Word was a 1990s Channel 4 television programme in the United Kingdom. which took its name from the regular column covering up and coming Manchester bands in the Manchester Evening News written by Terry Christian.

The British Central Bank and The Church of England have both apologised for The Role played by some of their older figures in The Slave Trade .

The Church is described, the story as a "source of shame".

In 2006, The Church of The Descendants of the victims of The Slave Trade .

Its missionary arm, The Society for the propagation of The Christian Religion in Foreign Parts (SPG), inherited three of the sugar estates in The Caribbean .
