Coronavirus: Can make a woman, the friendliness, the start in India?

Nov 17,2023 8:51 pm

With India under lockdown, and social distance, it is recommended to deal with The Threat of the coronavirus, a online collective of "care mongers" is reached, you will help older people and other vulnerable groups.

It began last week, as a Co-Nagaraj, a Digital Marketing professional and single mother, received a call from a close friend in the UK to help you, to request some medicines, arrange for your "very old parents".

Within hours, she heard of another friend who lives in the US with a similar question: can you make sure my parents have the provisions for the month?

Ms Nagaraj, who lives in the southern city of Bengaluru (formerly Bangalore), says, to call you to think about other friends whose parents don't have someone.

So, you have a message on Facebook, asking people to contact if they needed help.

the answer you got was overwhelming". People reached out to her and said to the whole of India and, surprisingly, most of that came in contact with, they wanted to help.

And thus was born care mongers India - a Facebook group, asking people to "stop scaremongering and start care mongering" - on 17. March.

"It is so much scaremongering in the current scenario," says Ms Nagaraj. "We Are trying to address The Feeling of helplessness in The People . We say that to stop people, fear and panic spread, and instead, spread the Love . "

Mahita Nagaraj established care mongers India , after you call your friends, to seek help.

Ms Nagaraj says from Canada. The concept actually began in Toronto in order to help vulnerable people, but within a few days it spread to almost all of Canada, with tens of thousands of registration.

reports of altruism have to come from other parts of The World . British deliver with soup older, in the US, the neighbours help those who are placed under quarantine, with the purchase of food and a Long Island mother is infected with The Virus , wrote about a neighbor who cooked a lasagna and left it outside your door.

Along with all of The Fear and panic caused by the Corona Virus, the help, the pandemic has also seen kindness go viral around The World , with neighbors and strangers in pitching to.

In India , care mongering has to go from The Word - in The First 24 hours, the Facebook group and 200 members. A week later, it has become a pan-India network with More Than 6,500 volunteers.

Ms Nagaraj, says she noticed that on Facebook, most of The People were always in contact to offer help, but to ask only a few were to help. So, on Friday Night , she launched a Hotline number, and since then "it's gone crazy".

care mongers India offers help for those most At Risk of health complications due to The Virus , such as the elderly, the disabled, people with pre-existing health conditions, and anyone with a child under one year of age.

In less than a week, Ms Nagaraj says she has thousands of calls and messages, and although a large number of them have to check whether The Number is real, you also has hundreds of requests for support.

Listed on the care mongers India page, We Are looking for numerous examples of the assistance provided; and the testimonies and messages of gratitude.

in addition to the call of in India , Ms Nagaraj fielding was looking dozens of calls from people all over The World for help for their elderly parents and grandparents.

"When people type your request, and address, we agree with the applicant with the next volunteer," she explains.

So, last Saturday, when Amit Joshi, in an exclusive block of flats in the suburb of Delhi, Noida, called the helpline, he was associated with Caremonger Madhavi Juneja, who also lives in Noida.

"woke up to The News that our apartment complex was under lockdown," Mr Joshi told me.

A resident had tested positive for the coronavirus and Mr. Joshi has not been informed that they were allowed to leave the house for a week.

"the police barricades was out on The Street , and our system is flooded with disaster management teams and health officials. Everything around us was switched on. It was completely in a panic," he says.

Mr Joshi, says who lives with his wife and his parents, that his biggest concern was How To get essentials like bread and milk.

And when he received a random WhatsApp, a co-worker about care mongers India , he decided to call them.

A few hours later, Ms Juneja, is a psychotherapist and coach, turned at the gate of Mr Joshi housing society and handed the supplies to him.

"I wore a mask and took out my bottle of hand sanitizer and drove to his complex, which is said to carry out The Delivery ," She Said .

"There, The Road was barricaded, I parked my car And Then went. If I had left him, out there, Someone Else could have taken. After I handed The Package to him, I treated my hands and got back in my car. "

Mr Joshi says, "In difficult times like these to reach out to people selflessly, to those who strengthen in need my faith in humanity. "

Ms Nagaraj says it is "so encouraging" that so many people want to help.

"Each request we receive, is something very special when we meet you. When a daughter calls to say your father lives alone, requires provisions, we work hard to ensure he gets it. "

Ms Nagaraj, says care has taken mongering, about life, and even your home.

"It's not an easy one to answer 450 calls per day," she says, "but if you help others, you go to bed thinking you wasted your day, and that's good enough for me. "
