'Father's violent death died in the dementia care unit'
The Daughter of The people with dementia died after he was pushed by another patient in a care facility, told that her family was left in the lurch by the authorities.
John O ' Reilly died a week after receiving a head injury in a dementia care unit in County Armagh .
The 83-year-old was pushed twice from the same patient in The Days before the deadly incident.
His Family were not aware of until after his death.
In a statement, the Southern Trust, said: "The tragic circumstances of Mr O'reilly's death, was the subject of an investigation process that took confidence and came to the conclusion his death was a tragic accident. "
"dad deserves to die, peacefully'Mr O'reilly's family said they only discovered about the previous incidents slide during The Police investigation which followed the death of her father.
His daughter Maureen McGleenon, said the Southern trust told them about the previous incidents, at a meeting, a week after her father had died.
She Said : "I couldn't believe it, especially because it had happened only days before the press, which led to Papa's fatal injuries.
"We had the framework of the device every morning, during This Time , and various members of the family visited father about This Time , so there were many opportunities to tell us this is happening.
"If we had known that my father pushed twice before, we can say, with absolute certainty, that we have taken him home, where he would be safe.
"We are heartbroken, dad deserves to die peacefully. "
Maureen McGleenon said her father lived for His Family ,Mr O'reilly, a former Ulster GAA Chairman, was a father of seven children.
His daughter said she was grown, a very Happy Home .
"He was married, mum of 55 years, and 15 grandchildren had.
"He loved the GAA, there were times he would travel to Cork and Kerry for A Day , just to see a game. The daddy was. "

"We don't know until the investigation that Mr. Y had been considered to be at High Risk for the patients in the nursing home, where he was a resident of prior to its placement in Gillis.
