Man imprisoned for 50 years after the rape of girls in Prescot
Liverpool Crown Court Thomas Nulty heard raped The Child in the early 1970s,
A Man who raped a six-year-old girl when he was a teenager, was imprisoned, almost 50 Years after the crime.
Thomas Nulty, 64, raped belongs to The Child in the early 1970s in Prescot, Merseyside, Liverpool Crown Court .
The Victim revealed her ordeal to police in April 2018.
Nulty denied rape, but was convicted following a trial, and admitted five offences in connection with the sexual abuse of two other children. He was imprisoned for seven years and six months.
judge Gary Woodhall said he had taken into account that Nulty had been 16 years old at the time, and "non-family care, boundaries, and behavior".
Nulty, now of Huddersfield Road, Oldham, had brought up was homes, in nursing, where he was abused as a boy, the court heard.
'Little empathy'The court heard that he raped The Girl in her own bed, while your Baby. He threatened her not to tell anyone or her mother would die.

In an impact statement she told how when she was young, she had tried to kill himself, and had always isolated the feeling of being "alone".

Nulty was imprisoned for five years in 1995 for indecently assaulting a 12-year-old girl and a young woman.
The Judge noted that, while in prison, he had a sex-offender treatment program and had not offended again.
