Coronavirus: UK hospital trials new drug for the treatment of

A new drug developed by British scientists for The Treatment of Covid-19 patients tested at the hospital of the University of Southampton .
Developed by UK bio-tech company, Synairgen, it uses a protein called interferon-beta, which produce our body, if we have a viral infection.
The First results of the study are expected to be June until The End of.
currently, There are only a few effective treatments for coronavirus with doctors, patients rely on the immune system.
What is the new medicine?Interferon-beta is part of The Body 's first line of defense against viruses, warn it to expect a viral attack, says Richard Marsden , chief executive of Southampton -based Synairgen.
