John Bolton: White house makes last gasp offer to book publishing

Nov 28,2023 10:11 am

As the National Security adviser, John Bolton was an important figure in the U.S. foreign policy

The Trump administration, is a last-ditch attempt to stop the publication of a damaging new book by a former National Security adviser.

Under different accusations, John Bolton , says Donald Trump "pleaded" to win for the help from China and re-election in 2020.

The justice Department has filed seeking an emergency order to block the release for reasons of National Security .

constitutional experts say The Move is unlikely to be successful and the US media have already published, are extracted.

The new Work - The Room Where It Happened - is due to the in the sale on 23. June. In it, John Bolton paints a picture of a President whose decisions have been dominated by the desire to win The Presidency again.

learn more about this story:

are based on private conversations and are impossible to verify. The Trump administration has pushed back against Mr Bolton, to say with The President , The Book was "out of lies and fake stories."

"Many ridiculous statements that he writes to me were never made, pure fiction," said Mr Trump tweeted on Thursday, adding: "the attempt to fire himself for him, like the Sick Puppy he is!"

Despite this, Mr Bolton's book has been highly anticipated, because his formerly high-ranking status of The President 's top adviser in safety.

Among The Book 's allegations:

Late on Wednesday, the justice Department asked a judge to a hearing on Friday to finish The Book release.

The Trump card-the administration argues that the publication moved to the front, before The Book could be properly checked.

The Work is "still Classified Information ," the justice Department wrote in the filing. "That means it contains the instances of information, which, if made known, could reasonably be expected to cause serious damage, or exceptionally grave damage to the National Security of the United States . "

The White house submitted another complaint earlier in the week against Mr Bolton on a similar basis.

publisher Simon & Schuster rejected the allegations, calling the filing a "frivolous, politically-motivated exercise in futility".

Ben Wizner of The American Civil Liberties Union) wrote to areas that any bid to put a stop, his release was sentenced "to failure".

"As usual, the government will have the threats has nothing to do with the protection of National Security , and everything to do with the avoidance of scandal and embarrassment. "

On the one hand, the account of John Bolton offers in his new book, is apparently something familiar.

This is hardly the First Time a former consultant or anonymous current aide Donald Trump has offered, the anecdotes, The President is seemingly uninterested in The Details of the ECB and uninformed on basic issues of foreign policy. For almost three-and-a-half years, there have been plenty of stories about the White house full of backbiting and infighting.

Mr Bolton ' s book goes over this well-trodden ground, however, in painting a broad portrait of The President , is ready to bend foreign policy in its domestic and personal political agenda. This Was The Heart of the prosecution case, Democrats in Congress against Trump in January.

Mr Bolton confirmed their allegations that the President Wanted to deliver to the withholding of military aid to pressure the Ukraine to damaging information on Democratic rival Joe Biden . Mr Bolton added that Trump's negotiations with China were also carried out, with one eye on his re-election, and that he intervened repeatedly to help friendly autocrats around The World .

the Republicans claim that this is all The Work of a disgruntled employee, trying to sell books, while the Democrats are growling, that Bolton should voluntarily process, this bombs during the impeachment. The ship has sailed, of course, but the Bolton ' s book may still be struggling a little something to distract a presidential campaign, to find, the grip, the less than five months before Election Day .
