About The Law


The Law is an 1850 book by Frédéric Bastiat. It was written at Mugron two years after the third French Revolution and a few months before his death of tuberculosis at age 49. The essay was influenced by John Locke's Second Treatise on Government and in turn influenced Henry Hazlitt's Economics in One Lesson.

Top-US-court secures the protection for LGBT workers

the U.S. Supreme Court has ruled that the employer, the employees, the fire Department, because they are gay or transgender, and breaks the country's civil rights laws.

In a 6-3 decision, said Federal law prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex or gender and not rejected, The Argument that the authors of The Law , had the intention, the meaning.

The ruling is a big win for LGBTQ workers and their allies.
