About The Commons


The Commons at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County is the central student activities center of the university campus. Opened in 2002, "The Commons" includes meeting rooms, food and retail outlets and a book store.

Mr Antell said: "I tried my best to see where the injuries were and took my shirt and tried to exert pressure.

"It was certainly a great relief when The Police came, to those of us who were with The Victims . "

He Said He felt shaken still "a bit" of the "ugly and callous" attack, but added his main thoughts were with The Victims , including three people required hospital treatment for injuries and their families.

"From what I saw, the attacks seemed to be largely undifferentiated," Mr Antell said.

"It's all a bit of a Blur - I was worried for my safety and the safety of others.

"in retrospect, I was encouraged by the response from members of The Public and the rescue services and the wider Reading community in The Hours after the provision of the sanctuary, and were doing everything they could to help. "

Mr Loder said he was "extremely proud" of his parliamentary assistant in The Commons for his "remarkable and extraordinary efforts" after the stabbings.

He told MPs Mr Antell "ran boldly in the direction of the danger, to help his only focus Injured ".
