About The Children

Two families gather at an upscale English estate in late December. Elaine (Eva Birthistle) and her sister, Chloe (Rachel Shelley), along with their husbands and children, are set for a weekend of family bonding and winter fun. But when they arrive, one of the children becomes sick, and all of the children exhibit strange behavior. The adults don't realize the disturbing truth until it's too late: The children have contracted a disease that has turned them into brutal, psychotic killers.

My money: "We are £200 up to £300 per month worse -'

to make

My money is a series on how people spend their money - and the sometimes difficult decisions that You have. Here, Laura Tarver of Oxford takes us through a week in her life during the Corona-Virus-pandemic.

Laura is 35 and lives in Abingdon, just outside Oxford with Her Husband , two-year-old daughter and cat. She works part-time as a speech therapist in both the NHS and private. Her Husband Tim is a doctor. In her leisure time, toddler leisure, Laura running enjoys, and while lockdown has picked up, learn The Ukulele online.

About Laura.

I woke up at six from my Little Girl Izzy scream from Next Door . Today I'm working from home, while she goes to the childminder.

Our Time during the lockout was very diverse. At the beginning I tried to juggle my two-and-a-half days of work, Around childcare, and very grateful that I work full-time. I had then provided a very brief stint as a home carer within the NHS, and now, where things start to get Back To normal, I started to work as a speech therapist again, fortunately, while Izzy continued to the day mother.

Today, the childminder's fees, which come Out in June - £563 for the month (although the government pays 20% of this as part of the tax-free childcare scheme). All of my work in the rule of schools, it is not yet known how long we have to work from home - we begin to try to perform therapy on line, but this is difficult with many of The Children I work with.

As a very small plus side, work from home, saves me time and money for commuters, often an hour each way in Oxford traffic. I spend £33 on fueling the cars of today, I have to do, much less often than before the lockout.

expenditure: £596

Today, during my lunch break, I pop Out a couple of dresses and a toy trolley for Izzy, which I also advertised on a Hand, me on Baby and toddler page, I follow You on Facebook. These sites have saved me a fortune in The Last few years, as well as avoid a new purchase is not required if You . Usually, I Like to be as much as possible from places Like this, charity shops or second-hand sales, even if these are not available, in The Last couple of months, I had to look up a few bits, such as toddler sandals and shorts for my weekly purchases.

Our fortnightly cleaner starts today, Hooray! Although a bit of a luxury, I feel that this £20 weeks is More Than justified by The Number of arguments and stores it in our marriage!

in the evening I take part in an online ukulele course shown on Facebook. In the not-Covid times, these take place in a pub in Oxford. Although lockdown has, of course, limits our options, I was never able to take this class In Person due to Izzy's before going to bed, so that the chance to do it online is a plus! The Class organizer has kindly made The Class voluntary fee (£6) for those on limited finances at This Time .

expenditure: £26

Many invoices to go Out today, I felt much the poorer for it! Our mortgage is £1,000 per month, while a combination of various insurance policies (car, home, pet), Mobile Phone , council tax and a couple of charity-and professional-subscription comes to £314. We try to check to check these fairly regularly, whether other subscriptions crept in, that We Are no longer with, but they seem to be hard to pare down.

I pop to the supermarket to buy a few bits are missing, and somehow end up spending £18. This includes a large bag of Compost - Like half of the country, I have in the garden work in lockdown. Because I have no idea what I'm doing, everything, what not dying feels Like a bonus and I can't wait to see if we can make something edible Out of it in a few months time.

also, I treat myself to a take-away chocolate milk shake from a local Cafe (£3). This is the First Time I've had the chance to Do Something Like this in weeks, and feel Like You are in heaven!

Later, I'm going to buy a e-book for a bargain £2. I usually tend to try to get books from The Library or from The Charity shop, but again, with these options, the movement in The Moment , I always have a couple of online.

expenditure: £1,337

Today me and Izzy head to the supermarket for our main food shop of the week. This comes to £63, which is a bit less than usual. Although the majority of our expenditure is decreased, while lockdown, spends our supermarket, have risen in any case - probably to eat less, and feel Like we deserve a few "treats" At Home !

in the afternoon, I take Izzy for a bike ride in the vicinity of Our House , on her balance bike. Lockdown meant, I did much better on the search for this proximity, free activities, whereas previously it was always easiest to focus on classes, such as music or sports lessons, for simple entertainment. It is nice to have time to play At Home a little more and not be so tied in to a schedule, as well as the save some cash!

in the evening I run some private language therapy online. Pre-lockdown, I saw four or five children in private every week. This has now reduced to only two that I see online. I still can't my head get Around Like a online therapy effective for All that I see, but need to start thinking About That , if The Situation hardly will change. For The Moment , however, this means that we have approximately £200-£300 per month worse.

expenditure: £63

Today we have a nice walk with a friend, her child and two months old the First Time I met the little one! While it's great to be able to meet again, I miss our usual options of a Cup of tea in a house or in a Cafe , especially in the face of the looming rain clouds. Nevertheless, it's a different free.

We also treat ourselves to take our weekly lockdown, This Week Lebanese. This was handle a little to us because the opportunity was taken to go to eat in pubs, cafes etc, although, ironically, we used to manage this much less than once a week.

It is also The Time in the week, the me and Tim to sit down and have a proper conversation that often get missed with work and toddler sleep times. We make our way through All The Local places that still with take-away food in our city - All to support The Local economy, of course! Today was 40 pounds, pretty steep, but gives us enough to eat For Tomorrow 's lunch.

expenditure: £40

meet Today, me, Tim, and Izzy You will have to help with some other friends to them, the dog for a walk. Our child entertainment options have changed a lot since lockdown. Previously, we would have to rely much more on paid activities such as soft play, farm parks and cafes. Now, we tend to have a walk or a bike ride, with a Packed snack for Izzy.

It is interesting to see rich, that they excited get by traveling to these smaller, more affordable, as the previous larger one, even if You again and again for different activities that You will do, "if the virus is gone". Although we have trips definitely saved money on our weekend, we have to compensate for, will be At Home so much with a 10ft trampoline!

Unfortunately, The Good weather has turned so that we hide At Home in the afternoon with a movie. We also have a jump start for The Car . (Note, do not let your child play on "continue" without checking the lights are turned off at The End ! ) That I do not learn clearly from my mistakes, as the same thing happened a few weeks ago with The Other car. Fortunately, This Time , we do not have to end up shelling Out for a new Battery .

expenditure: £0

Another day, another walk With Friends . This Time we go to a local farm park, which has opened up a couple of walks past The Animals , and (woop woop) The Cafe ! So we spend 2 € for Parking and $ 5. 50 On Ice cream for All of us. It's the catching up With Friends we haven't seen was beautiful This Week , so for a long time.

This afternoon, in spite of time to cook, we were All feeling super lazy, so We Are Domino's Pizza (£20), which made me a little guilty, both from a health and monetary perspective, but as always, we promised ourselves that next week would be better...

expenditure: £27. 50

Overall, This Week Spent : £2,089. 50How did Laura feel about your week?

We Are in search of more people to what You spend your money. If You are interested, please E-Mail or get In Touch via our, or if You live in the UK, then please come to our, and we will contact the target to You .
