An Indian Army convoy moves towards The Border area to China

India has vowed to defend The Border with military force, if necessary, after 20 of its soldiers were killed in the violence, with Chinese troops on Monday.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi says that no foreign soldiers are lost within the Indian borders and no territory.

China has not released all information about his victims, The Border since the clashes in the disputed Himalayan.

The two nuclear powers, accuse each other over the poorly demarcated border and provoked The Fight .

India has said that both sides suffered losses during the fighting in the Galwan valley in Ladakh.

In a televised statement on Friday, Mr modes, said India's armed forces had given "a free hand, all the necessary steps" to protect the Indian Territory .

"The whole country is hurt and angry on The Steps of China," He Said , adding: "India wants peace and friendship, but respect for sovereignty is the most important. "

Mr modes went on to say that next Monday the clashes, "neither is everyone that is recorded in our area, our postal".

The deadly incident, which was fought without firearms, because of the 1996 agreement, apart from weapons and explosives from the area, the injured also, allegedly, at least 76 other Indian soldiers.

A picture that emerged on Thursday, allegedly showed some of the crude weapons in The Fight .

A picture on The Bbc by an Indian military spokesman shows crude weapons allegedly in The Fight

The photo that appears to show iron bars studded with nails, was sent to The Bbc by a senior Indian military on the official India-China border, said the weapons had been used by the Chinese.

The Image was widely shared on Twitter in India, prompting outrage by many Social Media users. Neither Chinese or Indian officials have commented on it.

media reports that troops clashed on a mountain ridge at an elevation of nearly 4,300 m (14,000 ft) in steep terrain, with some soldiers to the river in sub-zero temperatures to fall into the fast-flowing Galwan.

- Why were there no weapons?

The Galwan river valley in Ladakh, with its harsh climate and the high Alpine terrain in the vicinity of Aksai Chin, a disputed territory claimed by India but controlled by China.

This is not the First Time that the two nuclear-fought armed neighbors without conventional firearms at The Border . India and China have a history of face-offs and overlapping territorial claims all along the More Than 3.440 km (2,100 miles), poorly-drawn LAC separates the Two Sides .

The Last firing at The Border in 1975 happened when four Indian soldiers were killed in a remote pass in the North-Eastern state of Arunachal Pradesh . The Clash was variously described by former diplomats as an ambush and lead to an accident. But no bullets have been fired since.

At the root, this is a 1996 bilateral agreement that says: "no page is opened Fire . Conduct blast operations or hunt with guns or explosives within two kilometers from The Line of Actual control".

But there were other tense confrontations along The Border in recent weeks. In may, Indian and Chinese soldiers physical blows exchanged after The Border at Pangong Lake, in Ladakh and in the North-Eastern Indian state of Sikkim, and hundreds of miles to The East .

India has accused China to send thousands of troops in the Galwan valley, and China occupies 38,000 sq km (14,700 square miles) of its territory. Several rounds of talks have failed in The Last three decades, to solve The Border disputes.
