Coronavirus: Raab calls on British public to ruin lockdown progress

Nov 20,2023 7:51 am

asked foreign Minister Dominic Raab was the population to stay at home over the Easter, to tell the people: "Let's not ruin it now. "

He Said , after almost three weeks of lockout, "we begin to see the impact on the victim, we all have".

Mr Raab said it was still "to lift" the restrictions.

a total of 7,978 people have now died in hospital after testing positive for coronavirus, of 881 on Wednesday.

on the occasion of the government's daily briefing, Mr Raab said a decision on whether to facilitate the lockdown measures would not be until "The End of next week".

He was deputising for the Prime Minister , who was in the hospital since Sunday after contracting coronavirus.

Boris Johnson on Thursday night, a No 10 spokesman said: "He is extremely in a good mood. "

Mr Raab stressed that the lockdown restrictions would have to remain in place until the evidence showed, had moved to the United Kingdom over the top of The Virus .

He Said : "After All the efforts that everyone has made, After All of the sacrifices that so many people, let's not ruin it now.

"Let's not undo the progress we have made, let us not waste the sacrifices that have made so many people turn to.

"We Are not allowed to the coronavirus, a Second Chance to more people to kill and injure Our Country . "

The First Secretary of state, spoke before a Bank Holiday weekend, which is likely to be warm, and in Downing Street said, it gave its "full support" of the police forces to enforce the lockdown rules.

The Announcement of a further 881 deaths with the Corona Virus is yet another tragic news.

And we know that the true number of fatalities to date higher: this figure does not include the people who died with the Corona Virus , But whose death has Not Yet been reported to The Department of health and Social care.

However, this is a decrease of The Daily total, compared to the Wednesday on The Announcement of 938.

All fall into The Daily figure is to be welcomed, But The Scientists advise warned the government, we should not be surprised, if tomorrow, the numbers set a record.

you have suggested that The Peak of the epidemic to arrive in may, before The Next week.

The trends over The Last week show that the actions of each have an effect on the epidemic.

Until last Saturday, The Number of deaths was three-and-a doubled-half days, with an increase of just over 20%, Every Day .

Since then, the growth in The Number of deaths has halved, to about 10% per day.

once we pass The Peak , we will see more and more people become a victim of this Virus , But it is the proposals in the data accumulate, that the lockdown is that the expected effect.

Sir Patrick Vallance , The British chief scientific adviser, said the social-distancing measures were admissions to the limitation of The Number of new cases and the hospital.

He explained that the numbers of victims continue to rise would stabilize numbers for about Two Weeks after the ICU visit, as deaths lag behind the approval.

David Rosser, chief executive of University hospitals Birmingham, warned that people must not insured "wrong" by the flattening of The Curve .

Dr. Rosser said he wanted to start the hospital, "the consequences of reaping" in The Next week, when people broke The Rules .

According to the new coronavirus laws, the Minister of health, you need to check the restrictions at least once every 21 Days , with The First review due by 16 April.

There are now 65,077 coronavirus cases in the UK, an increase of 4,344 confirmed on Wednesday.

Amid all the speculation about when and how the United Kingdom, the blocking can be relaxed, it is worthwhile to look back to the original scientific advice that action in the First Place .

It makes it clear that nothing is likely to change soon.

The government's scientific Advisory Committee , the sage, has always suggested that a 13-week program of interventions that are needed.

And although this sounds like a very accurate timing, it all depends on how The British public reacts.

The Scientists , a fairly pessimistic assumption that only 50% of households would not necessarily requirements.

So What might look like a schedule?

when they Reached The Peak in daily deaths, possibly in The Next week or so, Even the best-case scenario suggests that it will take a month or two for the numbers that die, fall to a low level.

This brings us well into may, and maybe until the beginning of June, and it would make a bold political decision, the restrictions not earlier, if there is a risk for a "second peak", with a resurgence of The Virus .

Mr Raab to discuss earlier chaired a virtual meeting of The Emergency Cobra Committee, the lockdown measures.

And on Thursday night he held a telephone conference with all opposition leaders update on the government's response to the pandemic.
