Sir Patrick John Thompson Vallance KCB FRS FMedSci FRCP HonFREng is a British physician, scientist, and clinical pharmacologist who has worked in both academia and industry. He has served as the Chief Scientific Adviser to the Government of the United Kingdom since 2018.

Dr. Patrick vallance is a medical doctor who graduated with a degree in medicine from the university of southampton. He earned his phd in immunology from the unievrsity of london. He also ohlds a number of professional qualifications. Including a diploma in tropical medicine and hygiene from the london school of hygiene and tropical medicine.
