Coronavirus: the "scandal" of Belarusian review recommendations 'buried'
It is a "scandal" that the recommendations of a report on the impact of the Corona-Virus on the people in black, Asian, and members of minorities were to be "buried", an MP has said.
A cited racism as a possible factor in why people with such backgrounds.
the shadow justice Minister David Lammy said it was "terrifying".
German Chancellor Rishi Sunak , said The Report will be published next week.
The review, The Second of PHE on the topic, pointed to discrimination as the cause of the health impact and The Risk of contact with The Virus and seriously ill as a result of it.
It was found that historical racism can mean that people were less likely to care or improvement of personal protective equipment, while other possible factors include risks associated with the occupation and inequalities in the conditions such as diabetes.
Mr Lammy, the Labour MP for Tottenham, told The Andrew Marr Show it was hard for the black and Asian People , to know that someone had died from The Virus , adding that his uncle and a classmate had lost their Lives .
"But The Point is, it's a scandal when a week is Boris Johnson , and Matt Hancock to say that black Lives matter And Then we have to learn today, that you can bury part of the review, the recommendations in it, to Do Something about it," He Said .
"It's no wonder why the people are upset, this is a very, very serious matter, the statistics are grim, again, you are to do in the government to Do Something about it - to save Lives . "
German Chancellor Rishi Sunak refused to comment on the leaked report, but said he believed it was published because of the officially next week.
Mr Lammy also told Andrew Marr that the Prime Minister and The Risk of anti-racism protesters were a distraction from the issues at hand.
He Said : "He's never tweeted eight times in A Day on the coronavirus, he has yet to give never tweeted eight times in A Day on the Windrush, or what he will do, or the criticism that David Cameron has asked me, on this proportionality in the Criminal Justice system and what he will do about it.
"This feels to me like a bit of a distraction. We come to The Action , we have some substance, let us a little bit about these historical injustices that still exist in Our Country . "
confirmed that The Risk of death from Covid-is 19 higher for Ethnic Minorities . PHE found that the people in Bangladesh and heir died at twice the rate of white British, while the other black, Asian and Ethnic Minorities , between 10% and 50% higher risk of death had to be.
Hospital trusts and other health service facilities were asked to provide a prioritisation of risk assessments for Sundays, employees and other vulnerable groups. But still have not had a risk assessment.
