Tim Davie , The Bbc 's most senior executives, has the name of the channel, the new Director-General.

Davie has been promoted from chief executive of BBC Studios, the commercial subsidiary that sells BBC and other British programmes abroad.

He Executive Director General after the resignation of George Entwistle in the year 2012, and is now replacing Tony Hall .
